The core application of hot-rolled seamless pipe:
1. Transporting fluids and withstanding pressure: This is the most classic and widely used application. Due to the absence of welding seams, it has high overall strength and can safely transport high-pressure, high-temperature, or hazardous fluids (such as steam, high-pressure water, oil and gas, chemicals, etc.) and be used as part of pressure vessels.
2. As a load-bearing component of mechanical structures: By utilizing its uniform circular structure and good mechanical properties, the shafts, rollers, hydraulic cylinders, etc. of mechanical equipment are manufactured to withstand high loads and fatigue stresses.
3. Transmission of kinetic energy: In drilling, transmission and other fields, as a drill rod or transmission shaft, it bears huge torsional and tensile stresses.
4. Manufacturing higher-level pipes: Often used as cold drawn (rolled) seamless pipe blanks, finished pipes with more precise dimensions, smoother surfaces, and better performance are obtained through cold processing.
